1. What We Collect
We collect account and product data needed to operate Vision Poker, including email address, license status, subscription and billing status, login codes, study progress, imported session metadata, bankroll inputs, and free leak audit requests.
The learning path stores your editable private learning profile, schedule versions, assessment answers and confidence, hints, activity starts and completions, explicit stopping points, elapsed activity time, session logs, hand-review reasoning and optional beta feedback. These account records are not published. Opting into the study scoreboard publishes only your permanent public username and weekly study points to other signed-in users; opting out removes that entry without deleting private progress.
The Clubhouse stores your permanent username, avatar choices, participation XP, invitation preferences and moderation settings. Other players can see your public username, avatar, room status and cosmetic progress; your email and private learning notes are not included in that public profile. Username confirmation is permanent; appearance can be edited separately.
2. Hand Histories and Uploaded Files
New supported file imports retain the original uploaded bytes privately alongside parsed hands, with a file fingerprint for exact-file duplicate detection. Review assumptions are stored separately. Deleting that imported session also deletes its stored original file and fingerprint record.
Vision Poker may first parse supported hand-history files in your browser to provide immediate feedback. When you import while signed in or submit a free leak audit, the file is also sent securely to the Vision Poker API so hands, actions, board cards, pots, positions, and summary statistics can be processed and associated with the relevant account or report.
Imported hand data is used to generate study feedback, review queues, study summaries, and drill recommendations. Bankroll totals are separate and are based only on the manual ledger entries you provide.
3. Payments
Payments and card details are handled by Stripe. Vision Poker does not store full card numbers. We store billing identifiers and subscription state so AI coaching can be granted, renewed or stopped. A failed AI subscription payment does not block free tools.
4. Email
If you email us for an invitation, we use your email address and message to respond and manage access. Invitation emails are handled through our support mailbox. The public foundation lessons need no account; guest Poker Maths results are stored in your browser.
We use Resend to send transactional emails such as login codes, leak audit reports, account messages, and support replies. We may send product-related emails connected to your account or requested actions.
5. Analytics
We use Vercel Analytics to understand page views and product usage at a high level. This helps us improve the website and onboarding flow. We remove query parameters and URL fragments before sending page-view events, so login codes, checkout identifiers and invitation tokens are excluded. Local development and embedded game frames do not send page views.
6. How We Use Data
- Provide login and account access.
- Process subscriptions, trials, cancellations, and failed payments.
- Generate leak audits, study plans, and review queues.
- Improve hand import support and product quality.
- Respond to support requests.
- Prevent abuse of free reports and protect the service.
7. Service Providers
When you request AI coaching, our configured AI provider (Anthropic or OpenAI, shown in Account) processes a bounded selection of poker actions, cards, positions, available stacks, statistics, your coaching focus, saved study preferences and recent saved drill results. Player names are replaced with labels. We do not include account email, recovery keys, payment details or raw history files in that request. Generated plans are saved with the session. AI output may be inaccurate and is not solver analysis.
We rely on infrastructure and service providers including Render, Stripe, Resend, Vercel, and analytics/error monitoring providers. These providers process data only as needed for hosting, payments, email, analytics, reliability, and support.
Solo Training and Retention
Solo training saves the cards and actions in the practice hand, your selected ranges, estimates, optional notes, hints and feedback. Account-backed training records are private and kept so you can resume and review your progress. They are included in account access and deletion requests.
Guest training uses a random key saved in your browser. Guest sessions become eligible for deletion after 30 days without a saved action; an hourly cleanup removes expired sessions in batches. Signing in and attaching a guest session keeps it with your account. Clearing your browser data can remove access to an unattached guest session.
We limit requests and new guest sessions to protect the service. Quota counters use keyed hashes of account, guest and network identifiers rather than storing raw IP addresses in those counters. Expired counters are removed after at least one day. Hosting providers may retain request logs under their own retention policies.
Training notes, guest keys, answers, hidden cards and deal seeds are excluded from application error reports. We use aggregate counts of started and completed sessions and returning accounts to assess the beta; these are not public player rankings.
8. Data Requests
You can contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of your account data. Some billing and transaction records may need to be retained where required for accounting, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.
